Terms of use
Last updated 4 November 2026
Draft: this page has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.
Scrimark is a service provided by Athelvoid Solutions (SSM registration no. 202603112324), Malaysia. It is a free beta. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
Who can use Scrimark
- Scrimark is intended for students in Malaysia.
- You must be 18 or older to create an account or use Scrimark. When you create an account, you confirm that you are. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it.
A beta, provided as is
- The service is free, may change, and may be unavailable or paused at any time, including when the daily usage limit for the beta is reached.
- Each account has daily and monthly limits on marked answers, tutor replies and uploads.
- We may end the beta, and we may limit, suspend or close accounts that misuse it, for example by creating many accounts, automating requests or copying our content (see below).
AI marking is guidance, not an official result
- Marks and feedback are produced by an AI model against a marking scheme. They can be wrong, and they are not a prediction of your exam result.
- Scrimark is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, ACCA or any other examining body or tuition provider.
- Questions you upload are marked against a scheme read from your upload by AI and not checked by a tutor. Results on them are marked “Unverified rubric”.
- If you think a mark is wrong, use “I think this mark is wrong” on the result. Disputes are reviewed by AI and, in some cases, by a tutor.
Use of our content
Draft wording, pending legal review.
- The questions, marking schemes, model answers, marks and feedback on Scrimark (“our content”) belong to us or the people who license them to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own study while you have an account.
- You must not copy, download in bulk, scrape, share, publish, sell or otherwise redistribute our content, in whole or in part, whether for free or for payment, including in study groups, forums, social media, file-sharing sites or tuition materials.
- You must not use our content to build or improve another product or service, or to train or test an AI model, and you must not use automated tools to access the service.
- Your account is for you alone. Do not share your sign-in details or let anyone else use your account.
- Pages showing our content may carry visible and invisible markers that identify the account they were shown to, so that we can trace content that is shared without permission.
Limits, suspension and closing accounts
Draft wording, pending legal review.
- We watch for patterns of use that suggest content is being collected rather than studied, such as answering many questions in a short time with very short answers. When we see them, we may automatically and temporarily limit the account, for example by pausing new questions for a few hours.
- We may suspend an account while we look into suspected misuse, including a breach of “Use of our content”. While it is suspended you can still sign in and see your past answers and results, but you cannot use the AI features.
- If we find that you have breached these terms, we may close your account and refuse a new one. Where the law allows, we will tell you why first and give you a chance to respond, unless we need to act at once to protect the service or our content.
- You can close your account at any time from your account page.
- The beta is free, so there are no fees to refund.
Your content
- You keep the rights in your answers. You let us store and process them to provide the service, as described in the privacy notice.
- Only upload material you are entitled to use for your own study. Do not upload other people's personal data.
